Warren vs. Davis Headlines Bellator 143
On September 25th Bellator MMA will be in the Lone Star State for Bellator 143 headlined by well traveled vet LC Davis (23-6) against former two weight class title holder Joe Warren (12-4).
Warren will be looking to rebound from being submitted and losing the Bellator Bantamweight title too Marcos Galvao, a loss that ended a 5 fight win streak. Davis a vet of Titan FC, IFL, and WEC, is 7-1 in his last 8 with a 3-0 mark in Bellator; coming off a Bellator 135 split decision win over Hideo Tokoro. Warren has fought to the final bell in 8 of his victories while David has finishes in 15 fights.
The night co-main event has also been announced and will see a Middleweight battle between UFC vet Joey “The Mexicutioner” Beltran (16-11) and Kendall “Da Spyder” Grove (21-15). Beltran is 2-2 in Bellator coming off a Middleweight debut majority decision win over Brain Rogers at Bellator 136. Grove is also 2-2 in Bellator, but is coming off a Bellator 137 loss to former Bellator Middleweight champion Brandon Halsey. Grove as 10 of 15 stoppage wins by submission while Beltran has 11 of 13 stoppage wins by knock out.
Bellator 143 will be taking place at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas; and broadcasted on Spike TV.
