Holly Holm Parade Route & Time -

It’s time Albuquerque to celebrate, Holly holm our champion has climbed to the top of the UFC mountain. There will be a huge celebration for Holly Holm winning the UFC Woman’s Bantamweight World Championship this Sunday in Downtown ABQ.

At UFC 193 as a huge underdog, Holly Holm shocked everyone out side of the Land of Enchantment by scoring a 2^nd round head kick knock out of then undefeated champion Ronda Rousey. The win establishes Holm as the most successful Boxer to ever transition to MMA. 19 time Boxing world champion and 2-time MMA champion. This win takes away doubt, Holly Holm is the Greatest Female Fighter of All Time.

There will be a parade at 1 pm, starting off at 1^st and Central. The parade will head west on central to 6^th street. At 6^th street the parade takes a right turn and heads north on 6^th to Tijeras where another right turn will be taken and the parade will then head east. At 3^rd street we take a left turn and head north to the ending point at Civic Plaza.

The public is being asked to line Central for the parade and to then head to Civic Plaza, for a ceremony. After the ceremony there is a scheduled musical performance by the band The Norms. Governor Susana Martinez & Mayor Richard Berry are expected to participate in the ceremony. The celebration is scheduled to end by 3 pm.

Also in Holly related news, UFC president Dana White has confirmed that next for Holm is a rematch with Ronda Rousey.
