Macfarlane vs Ruth added to Dynamite 2 Main Card
During Bellator 155 it was announced that Ilima-Lei “The Ilimantator” Macfarlane (3-0) and Rebecca “Ruthless” Ruth (6-1) will meet in at Flyweight bout on the main card of Dynamite 2.
Macfarlane is a 26 year ole, member of San Diego, California’s,Team Hurricane Awesome. In her promotional debut at Bellator 148, with an armbar, Macfarlane submitted Amber Tackett in just over 2 minutes.
Ruth is a 37 year ole from Robertsville, Missouri, and 21st Century MMA. Ruth is on a 4 fight win streak, with 3 straight TKOs; that led to a Bellator 150 unanimous decision win over Lena Ovchynnikova.
Dynamite 2 is June 24th at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
It was also announced that on the same night following the Dynamit 2, Bellator Kickboxing 2 will take place. The main event will see a rematch of a Bellator 139 mma bout, that saw Hisaki Kato knock out Joe “Stich ‘Em Up” Schilling; they will now go at it with the big gloves.
