Siver out, Miller in vs. Penn at UFC 199

Earlier this week it was announced that injury would force Dennis Siver (22-11) out of UFC 199. Today’s UFC Tonight episode revealed his replacement.

Cole “Margrinho” Miller (21-9) on less then 3 weeks notice will take on BJ “The Prodigy” Penn (16-10-2) at UFC 199.

Miller is a long time member of America Top Team and is a vet of season 5 of TUF. Miller will be walking into the octagon for the 19th time. Miller last fought in December in a bout that end early as a no contest, due to an eye poke.

Penn the former world champion in 2 different divisions will be fighting for the first time as a member of the JacksonWink Gym. Penn has lost 3 straight to top flight competition Nick Diaz, Rory Macdonald, and Frankie Edgar,

Miller has 13 of 16 stoppage wins by submission, while Penn has 7 of 13 stoppage wins by knock out.

UFC 199 is June 4th at The Forum in Inglewood, California; and features 2 champion affairs.
