Multiple Additions to Bellator 174
Today Bellator MMA announced multiple additions for March’s Bellator 174 including 2 fights that will be part of the main card.
The first main card addition is the co-main event, a Welterweight bout pitting former champion Andrey “Spartan” Koreshkov against Fernando
‘the Menifee Maniac” Gonzalez. Koreshkov will be fighting for the first time since losing the title and having his 6 fight win streak ended by a knock out loss to Douglas Lima. Gonzalez is looking to rebound from having his 5 fight win streak ended by a split decision loss to Michael Page.
The other main card addition is at Middleweight with Kendall “Da Spyder” Grove squaring off with Chris “The Cuty” Honeycutt. Grove has won 2 of his last 3 but is coming off a Bellator 162, 2nd round TKO loss to Alexander Shelmenko. Honeycutt has rebounded from his first career loss with 3 consecutive decision victories.
Most notable of the 3 prelim additions is that UFC vet Cody Pfister will be taking on Jonathan Gary, who’s coming off a a Bellator 167, unanimous decision over Aaron Roberson
