Jackson’s MMA Series XXII Headlined by Sanchez vs. Park
June 10th the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino, will play host to Jackson’s MMA Series XXII. The main event will be a Lightweight bout with former KOTC champion “The San-I Warrior” Angelo Sanchez against Force of One’s Harvey Park.
Sanchez returned to the cage this past December, after 2 years away with a unanimous decision win over Josh Wick. Sanchez has 10 of his 13 win by stoppage,7 of the 10 are submissions, and has most often won by armbar.
Park is on a 5 fight win streak and has all 7 of his victories by stoppage. During the win streak Park has 4 of the 5 wins by knock out, including two I was cage side for. His ground and pounding of Jon Sparks and his dissection of Brandon Trjillo’s right leg.
Sanchez is a grizzled vet looking to make another push, after realizing retirement can wait. Sanchez has pro boxing experience an the above mentioned submission premise. Park is the Lightweight top prospect in the state, a proven finisher taking the next step in facing his toughest test, a battle tested vet.
