Middleweight sluggers meet with title shot on the line
Meeting in a Middleweight number 1 contenders bout at Maverick MMA’s December 9th event that will be Eric Roncoroni & Phil Hawes.
Roncoroni is a product of the American Striker Academy and former Ring of Combat Middleweight title holder. Roncoroni has 4 of 5 wins by knock, but will be looking to halt a 2 fight skid.
Hawes has fought for Legacy FC, WSOF now PFL, Dana White’s Contender Series, and was part of the TUF 23 cast. Hawes has 3 of his 4 wins by knock out and has also dropped his last 2.
Both have spent time in training in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Luttrell/Yee & JacksonWink Roncoroni has fast powerful hands while Hawes a physical specimen, has a solid wrestling base.
