Anthony Birchak vs. Nohelin Hernandez headlined LFA 72 in Phoenix
Legacy Fighting Alliance returns to the Valley of the Sun July 26th for LFA 72 headlined by a Bantamweight showdown.
One of Arizona’s biggest MMA stars, UFC vet, Anthony “El Toro” Birchak squares off with prospect Nohelin “Suave” Hernandez in the nights main event. LFA 72 takes place July 26th at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.
The AXS TV audience will remember Birchak who won the MFC Bantamweight title on the network. After a 4-fight stint with the UFC, “El Toro” fought for Rizin FF three times, and is coming off a first round TKO of Adam Martinez at Combate 26, this past October.
Hernandez will come in on a 4-fight win streak, that includes an LFA 51 victory over Rolando Velasco. The 25-year-old AKA product has three of his four finishes by knockout.
The co-main event will take place at Middleweight with Daniel Madrid, who’s on a 3-fight win streak, against Chris Harris, who’s coming off a split decision win over Zak Bucia.
Additionally, at Bantamweight, UFC vet, Roman Salazar, who’s coming off a decision win over Evan Delong, faces Kevin Nativdad, who’s on a 4-fight win streak. And at Featherweight Mike Hamel, who has 50% finishing rate, all his finishes by knockout, collides with Flavian Pilrim, who has 100% finishing rate.
