LFA Announces a Quartet of Events Including Stage for Heavyweight Tournament Finals
Legacy Fighting Alliance will put on 4 events in 5 weeks from the end of August through September, culminating in the crowning of a new Heavyweight champion.
LFA 74 will take place Friday, August 30th at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium in Riverside, California. LFA 75 takes place Friday, September 6th at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah, which also hosted LFA 66. LFA 76 takes place Friday, September 13th at the Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas,
The LFA will crown a Heavyweight champion September 27th when Daniel James faces Brett Martin at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in the main event of LFA 77 in Prior Lake, Minnesota.
Daniel “The American Predator” James (9-3-1) is on a 3-fight win streak. James punched his way to the finals by a TKO from ground and pound of Patrick Martin in the main event of LFA 67. The Illinois native stands at 6”6” and has 5 of his 8 finishes by knockout.
Brett “Big Dog” Martin (8-1) is on a 4-fight win streak. Martin advanced to the finals by disqualification win over Renan Ferreira in the main event of LFA 70. The fight was ruled a DQ after Ferreira landed multiple illegal strikes to the back of Martin’s head. Martin’s most notable win is a submission of LFA, Contender Series, & TUF vet Josh Parisian.
