Bellator Postpones May events

The Covid-19 pandemic has postponed everything in the sports world. After having postponed Bellator 241 the promotion has decided to do the same with a full calendar of events that had been set for May.

Bellator 242, Bellator Europe Series London, & Bellator 242 are all postponed. Bellator 242 was going to be May 9^th at the SAP Center in San Jose, California; with the light-heavyweight & middleweight title on the line. Bellator Europe Series London was set for May 16^th at the SSE Arena in London, headlined by James Gallagher verses Callem Ellenor. Bellator 243 was scheduled for May 29^th at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California, featuring Liz Carmouche against Mandy Bohm.

As of now the next event on the book for Bellator MMA is Bellator 244 on June 6^th at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The main event is scheduled to see the second meeting between “Iron” Michael Chandler & “Smooth” Benson Henderson. Plus, AJ McKee versus Darrion Caldwell in a Featherweight Grand Prix Semifinal.
