Two Title Fights on Tap for Invicta FC on AXS
The Invicta FC debut on AXS TV will be a championship double header.
The main event will see Mexico’s Karina Rodriguez & Brazil’s Daiana Torquato for the vacant Invicta FC flyweight title. Rodriguez has won two of her last three fights. Both wins coming by decision over UFC vets Milana Dudieva & Deanna Bennett. Torquato has won her last six official fights. I say official because she went 1-1 at Phoenix Rising II but those fights where both exhibitions.
The co-main event will see Alesha Zappitella defending the Invicta FC atomweight title against Jessia Delboni. Zappitella will defend the title for the first time since winning the belt at Invicta FC 42 by submitting Ashley Cummins with a von flue choke. Delboni has won three of her last four fights including decision wins in Invicta over Lindsey VanZandt & Herica Tiburcio.
The feature fight will see former Bellator & Invicta title challenger Emily Ducote welcoming Liz Tracy to the strawight divison.Additionally Phoenix Rising III winner Taneisha Tennat will offcially face Hope Chase for the first time, the two met in the Phoenix Rising III semifinals.
