RUF 41 featuring pair of “Road to One” Tournament Bouts
Father’s Day at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, Arizona will see Ringside Unified Fighting presenting RUF 41 “Summer Showdown” featuring two “Road to One” heavyweight tournament bouts.
The main event will see UFC vet Cody “The Freight Train” East (11-6) against Bellator vet Michael Quintero (6-2) East has held the King of the Cage & Legacy FC heavyweight crowns, while also picking up wins in Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai. Besides having competed on MMA biggest stage, the Los Lunas, NM native has fought in China & Russia. A high-school state wrestling champion has 11 finishes eight by knockout. Quintero has finishes in five of his six wins, three by submission. Quintero’s most notable win is a submission of big show vet Jack May. And in the co-main event Ed Perez (3-1) faces Darian Abby (2-2).
