2021 PFL Playoffs layout
The PFL 2021 playoffs are set to happen over a three-week period in August.
The PFl has changed up their playoff format. The previous two playoffs had fighters compete twice in one night going through a two round quarterfinal and a three round semifinal to advance to the million-dollar finals. This season the PFL limited each division to four playoff competitors where eight had made it in previously. This means straight to the semifinals which will be your traditional three-five-minute round fight.
All three playoff events will take place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL. The winner will advance to the finals slated for October 27th at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
Several fighters have a chance to win a second championship. Magomed Magomedkerimov was the PFL 2018 welterweight champion. Both Ray Cooper III at welterweight & Emiliano Sordi at light-heavyweight have the chance to equal what they accomplished in 2019. And unbeaten two-time Olympic gold medial winner, Kayla Harrision can become the PFL’s first three time champion.
PFL Playoffs 1 Card (ESPN2/ESPN+) – August 13th
- Welterweight Semifinal: Ray Cooper III (22-7-1) vs. Rory MacDonald (22-7-1)
- Welterweight Semifinal: Magomed Magomedkerimov (28-5) vs. Joao Zeferino (26-9)
- Lightweight Semifinal: Clay Collard (20-8) vs. Raush Manfio (13-3)
- Lightweight Semifinal: Loik Radzhabov (14-3-1) vs. Alexander Martinez (8-1)
PFL Playoffs 2 Card (ESPN/ESPN+) – August 19th
- Women’s Lightweight Semifinal: Kayla Harrison (10-0) vs. Genah Fabian (4-1)
- Women’s Lightweight Semifinal: Larissa Pacheco (15-4) vs. Taylor Guardado (2-1)
- Heavyweight Semifinal: Bruno Cappelozza (12-5) vs. Jamelle Jones (12-6)
- Heavyweight Semifinal: Denis Goltsov (27-6) vs. Ante Delija (18-4)
PFL Playoffs 3 Card (ESPN2/ESPN+) – August 27th
- Featherweight Semifinal: Brendan Loughnane (21-3) vs. Movlid Khaybulaev (17-0-1)
- Featherweight Semifinal: Chris Wade (19-6) vs. Bubba Jenkins (16-4)
- Light Heavyweight Semifinal: Emiliano Sordi (23-8-1) vs. Antonio Carlos Junior (11-5)
- Light Heavyweight Semifinal: Cezar Ferreira (14-9) vs. Marthin Hamlet (7-2)
