ONE Championship Announces “Empower” All Female Card
One Championship will put on their first all-female event September 3rd featuring the atomweight grand prix quarterfinals and headlined by a strawweight title fight.
The main event will see China’s Jing Nan Xiong defending the one strawweight championship against Brazil’s Michelle Nicolini. Xiong will be looking to make her sixth successful title defense. Nicolini has three of her four wins in One by submission.
As we know One dose more then just MMA. In a featured Kickboxing bout former Glory world champion Anissa Mesken will battle Spain’s Cristina Morales. And in a Muay Thia match American Jackie Buntan will face Argentina’s Daniela Lopez.
The One Atomweight Grand Prix has been scheduled to start in May but was pushed back due to travle restrictions. The event takes place at the Singapore Indoor Arena. The whole event will stream on Bleacher Report.
