Lima vs. Jackson set as Bellator London Co-main Event
The co-main event for Bellator London has been announced and will have direct implcations for the main event winner.
A number one contender for the Welterweight world champion will be decided when number two ranked Douglas “The Phenom” Lima will sqarue off with number three ranked Jason “The Ass Kicking Machine” Jackson.
Lima is a former world champion who won the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix in 2019 defeating Rory MacDonald winning the championship for a third time. The 34-year-old Braziliand is a vicious leg kicker with knockout power and a BJJ Black Belt. Lima looks to rebound from a conterversial split decision loss to Michael Page from this past November.
Jackson has been a belt collector along the regional scene winning title in Victory FC, Titan FC, & LFA. The Jamacian fighter is on a five-fight win streak including decision wins over Benson Henderson, Neiman Gracie, & Paul Daley.
