Delboni vs. DeCoursey headlines Invicta FC 49
Invicta Fighting Championship bring a Atomweight title fight to their September event in the Sooner State.
September 28th the Sugar Creek Casino in Hinton Oklahoma will host Inivcta FC 39. The main event will see Jillian DeCoursey challenging Jéssica Delboni for the Invicta Atomweight title. New York’s DeCoursey has won three of her last four fights and coming off a first-round knockout of Lindsey VanZandt. Delboni lost a split decision to then Invicta Atomweight champion Alesha Zappitella. The Brazilian came back three weeks later to winning three decisions in a row to win the Atomweight Phoenix tournament. Seven months ago, Delboni got and dominated her rematch with Alesha Zappitella to capture the belt.
The co-main event will see Kristina “Warhorse” Williams against Ketlen “Esquentadinha” Souza. Williams is on a three-fight win streak coming off submitting Liana Pirosin at Invicta FC 48. Souza will make her promotional debut on a three-fight win streak with two of the wins coming by knockout.
In a battle between TUF 30 cast members Kaytlin Neil faces Hannah Guy. Their fellow cast member Helen Peralta battles UFC vet Poliana Botelho on the under card.
