Light-Heavyweight Title Unification Headlines KunckleMania3 in Albuquerque
In 2023 Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships biggest night of the year will take place in the “Land of Enchantment”. KnuckleMania is the biggest night of the year for BKFC and the main event echoes those sentiments as champion Lorenzo “The Juggernaut” Hunt & interim champion Mike “The Marine” Richman will unify the BKFC Light-Heavyweight title.
Hunt ended his 2021 by taking the BKFC Light-Heavyweight title from Hector Lombard. In April the St. Augustine Florida fighter score a second-round knockout of Joe Riggs for his first successful title defense. “The Juggernaut” is BKFC’s double champ also holding the Crusierweight title he won in October by knocking out Quentin Henry for his seventh win in a row.
Richman may be familiar to many fight fans for being on season 12 of The Ultimate Fighter or for his 12-fights with Bellator MMA. After two fights with other Bare Knuckle promotions Richman made his way to BKFC. “The Marine” has found his home in the squared circle winning all four of his fights. His last three wins over Dakota Cochrane, David Rickles, & Isaac Doolittle have come in statement making fashion.
KunckleMania3 is set for February 17th at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque New Mexico. And there’s still the possibility that Austin Trout against Diego Sanchez could be added to the card pending medical evaluations.
