The UFC Apex in Las Vegas hosts UFC Vegas 76 a 12-fight card featuring a Middleweight headliner. In the main event number seven ranked contender Sean Strickland defends his spot in the rankings against the surging Abus Magomedov.
Strickland has put together a ran at 185 lbs. that had him within a step of challenging for the UFC title. At the first Fight Night of the year Strickland beat Nassourdine Imavov in the main event. Magomedov is a PFL vet on a three fight win streak taking only 19 seconds to dispatch of Dustin Stoltzfus.
In the co-main event a spot in the rankings is on the line as Damir Ismagulov risks his number 12 against the Grant Dawson. Ismagulov is returning to action from a short lived retirement possessing 5 win in the octagon all by decision. Dawson has finished all three of his win at Lightweight with the last two both rear naked chokes.
