Cruiserweight Title fight Headlines BKFC 50 in Denver
Bare Knuckle Fighting Champion will be returning to the Mile High City in September with a Cruiserweight Championship bout in the main event.
September 22 the 1st Bank Arena in Denver Colorado will host BKFC 50.
The future of two division champ Lorenzo Hunt had been a major topic of discussion. “The Juggernaut” had been very vocal about his desire to become three division champion. A opportunity to fight for the BKFC heavyweight title was discussed but never came to reality. Having not fought since his February comeback knockout win over Mike Richman it’s the right time for Hunt to get his belts back in the spotlight.
Hunt will make his first defense of the BKFC Cruiserweight world title against Colorado’s own Chris Camozzi. A vet of the UFC, Glory Kickboxing, and the PFL has made a big impression in a short time in Bare Knuckle. At BKFC 31 it took Camozzi just 37 seconds to dispatch of Bubba McDaniel and Dan Spohn couldn’t get get to the the second round.
Hunt has been with a Promotion since BKFC 8 and is on an 8-fight win streak including knocking out Quentin Henry at BLFC 30 to win the then vacant Crusierweight world championship.
