Tafoya vs. Miramontes Headlines JacksonWink Fight Night Series 5
Caged Minds has been informed that a Flyweight tussle will be on the Marquee for the 2nd MMA event to take place at the JacksonWink Academy.
Friday September 8th JacksonWink Fight Night Series 5 will take place inside the famed JacksonWink Academy. The main event will see at 125 lbs. showdown between ten-fight vets Jesse “The Tornado” Tafoya & David “Bam” Miramontes. Tafoya is an aggressive and wildly acrobatic finisher with four stoppages all in the first round, three coming by submission. Miramontes is California born fighting out of Texas will finishes in all of his wins, 75% coming by knockout.
Welterweights will be in the co-main event as JacksonWink’s Travis Foster squares off against Pariah MMA’s Caleb Crump. Foster is New Jersey born wrestler with over twenty professional fight on his record coming off a first round knockout win over Terry House Jr.. Crump is a a Illinois native fight out of Colorado with his last two wins by rear naked choke.
On the Amateur side of the card three fights are official. At Featherweight JacksonWink’s Clark Ginn will face Wild West MMA’s Eric Flores and JacksonWink’s Jacob Saiz will battle take on Wild West MMA’s Devon Garcia. At Flyweight Perez Fighting Systems Bryce Kettle will battle Wild West MMA’s Donovan Garcia. At Bantamweight Samuel Walker from JacksonWink MMA faces Esai Dimas from Wild West MMA.
The next day Saturday September 9th the second JacksonWink MMA Invite Only Submission Tournament will take place at the Academy starting at 9 am .
