Three huge fights, announced for Bellator 301
Bellator MMA is returning to the Windy City with an event featuring two title fights and a Lightweight Grand Prix Semifinal.
In the main event Yaroslav Amosov will put the Bellator Welterweight title on the line against Jason “The Ass Kicking Machine” Jackson. Amosov reestablished his supremacy over the division this past February thoroughly beating Logan Storley. Jackson has earned his title short on the strength of a six-fight win streak.
The Bellator Bantamweight title will be unified in the co-main event as champion Sergio Pettis faces interim champion and Grand Prix winner Patch Mix. In June Pettis returned from a torn ACL to successfully defend his title against the most decorated fighter in Bellator history Patricio Freire. Mix won the Grand Prix finals and took possession of the Bellator interim bantamweight title in April after a first round knockout of Raufeon Stots.
In the featured fight slot a trip to the lightweight Grand Prix finals is on the line as former champion Patrick Freire battles Alexander Shably who’s on an eight-fight win streak.
Bellator 301 is set for November 17th at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
