Nowhere to Run Next Gen Saturday
This Saturday amateur strikers will get the opportunity to show off their evolving skillsets inside the Nowhere To Run ring.
An important change has been made from when the event was originally announced in September. Saturdays action will not be at the Empire Event Center and instead is taking place at Overtime Sports Bar & Grill 4100 San Mateo Blvd in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Doors will open at 4 and first fight is set for 5 pm.
Nowhere To Run Next Gen will feature action in both the striking arts of Kickboxing & Muay Thai with competitors from across the Southwest.
Nowhere To Run was established in 2019 by professional fighter and coach “St. Nick” Nick Gonzalez. Gonzalez knows a thing or two about striking having competed professionally in MMA, Boxing, and Bare Knuckle Boxing.
Gonzalez saw many opportunities for amateur pugilists and mixed martial artists to hone their crafts. Ground technicians have grappling tournaments and give mixed martial artists a place to go live with what they’ve been training. Nowhere To Run gives those competitors the opportunity to show off the striking skills they’ve been working on without worrying about going to the ground.
From 2019-2021 Nowhere To Run put on 5 action packed, knockout filled shows before a two year hiatus.
