Sanchez vs. Cutter Headlines first BKFC MVL Prospect Series event
The first BKFC MVL Southwest Prospect Series event will be headlined by one of New Mexico’s most experienced and beloved fighters.
The main event will see former King of the Cage champion Donald Sanchez squaring off against Florida’s Noah Cutter. And in the co-main event the Duke City’s ownEric Dodson battles Montana’s Dakota Highpine.
Sanchez has stepped into the circle twice battling for an action packed 20 minutes. Sanchez battled veteran South African Jeremy Smith tooth and nail to the final bell in his promotional debut in 2022. A year later at BKFC 48, Sanchez got his hand raised after picking apart Blake LaCaze.
Sanchez has had amazing longevity in the fight game. 50 fights in mixed martial arts before transitioning to boxing for a couple years and then deciding to take the gloves off and give bear knuckle a try in the last few years.
Cutter will be the more experienced Bare-Knuckle fighter in this equation having competed for the promotion nine times in the last four years. After beating Blake LaCaze at BKFC 30, Cutter made a business trip to Albuquerque for Knucklemania 3 where his night was cut short as damage lead to a doctor stoppage after one round against Wilfredo Santiago. Allen three of Cutter’s wins in the circle have come by from a devastating finish.
Eric Dodson got his Bare Knuckle career off to a hot starts knocking out Nick Villar & Gene Perez in the first round. The younger brother of Flyweight champion Jon Dodson will look to get back in the win column flatter going the distance with Robert Armas in the fight of the night at BKFC 48.
Dakota Highpine made his BKFC debut two weeks after Eric Dodson at BKFC 29 defeating Kota Greenwood by unanimous decision. While it didn’t workout in his favor, Highpine is coming off a testing himself against one of the division’s elite, top five ranked Bryan Duran.
January 27th BKFC MVL Southwest Prospect Series 1 takes place at Revel Entertainment Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Current fight card can by found below and we’ll have more details as they become available.
