DCCW Dawn of a New Year, but Still the Thunder Era

It’s a new year. A time to start over fresh and do things different. They also stay the more things change the more they stay the same.

While Turbo Tony has surely became a new man over the recent months, Matthew Roblez is still up to the same tricks and his associate Thunder is catching on quickly. A the brink of exacting his revenge a timely intervention from Chuey Martinez and Matthew Roblez would open up the opportunity for Thunder to cut down Tony with a spear to collect the win.

As promised by Jacob Tatum his match with Hobo presented action the El Rey Theater had never seen before. From Taft hitting a back hand spring moonsault to executing, the best moonsault ever. Hobo Hank pulled a new trick out of his back with a picture perfect Canadian Destroyer. Watching there prized acquisition face the possibility of defeat both Matthew Roblez and Sale inserted themselves into the fray.  Referee Don Sisco forced to call for the bell giving Hobo Hank a disqualification victory. In an act of complete malice Sale obliterates Don Sisco with a Samon avalanche in the corner.

Mosh Pit Mike is known as one of the toughest Hardcore wrestler in all the Southwest and while Tyler Copeland is getting ready for an extreme war. You’ll have to judge for yourself whether or not Copeland just got carried away or thought is best to escape but the match was a disqualification after Copeland launched a steel chair at Mike.

Could a tag team division be coming to DCCW. If it dose we might see Mister Happy become even more exuberant and possibly make Gato purr. The tandem working together like a well oil machine while Valak Vile and Dominus might have sprung a leak. The celebration would be cut short as Tyler Copeland accepted Tommy’s challenge for a Burque Street fight with a chair shot to the back.

The debuting Lilith Grimm displayed the furious strength that earned her the moniker “the Warhammer” and while she bought the battle to Elize Haze it wasn’t enough to topple her flower power.  As the peace queen wants to see DCCW create a crown for to fight for.

The thirst for violence from Chuey Martinez is starting to reach levels were he can’t be quenched. His depraved motions finding answer for every question posed by Fonzi. While eccentric burquiano fighting back tooth and nail. When push came to shove Martinez ignored the ref leading to a disqualification. Like a bell would stop the onslaught. Turbo Tony still needing his revenge from a month ago makes the save knocking Martinez over the ropes and to the floor.

The evening started out on a sad note as Duke City Championship Wrestling attempted to mourn the loss of Homie. Homie the skeleton who was in there corner from the very beginning that was until Charlie 50 had the urge to break some bones. The moment was cut short of heartfelt by Jerry Vandetta who took the time to sing the praises of southwest Texas.
