Former LFA champion faces UFC vet in LFA 184 Headliner
Legacy Fighting Alliance is returning to the Golden State for the eighteenth time in mid may with a high stakes Light-Heavyweight bout.
In the main event former LFA champion Ozzy Diaz faces UFC vet Bevon Lewis. Both competitors have spent considerable time at Middleweight and are reinventing themselves at Light-Heavyweight.
Diaz won the LFA Middleweight title in 2022 stopping Bruno Assis by TKO. After an appearance on the Contender Series Diaz moved up a weight class for LFA 178 where he scored a spectacular first round knockout of Chuck Campbell.
Lewis first stepped foot in the LFA octagon defeating Sonny Yohn at LFA 10. Lewis’s wins on season one and two of the Contender Series are sandwiched between a LFA 38 victory over Collin Huckbody. In the UFC Lewis would defeat Dequan Townsend. A former Middleweight who has tried heavyweight Lewis can see Light-Heavyweight being his sweet spot.
LFA 184 takes place on Friday May 17th at the Commerce Casino & Hotel in Commerce, California.
