Mix Defends & Doumbe Debuts at the Bellator Championship Series: Paris
The Bellator Championship Series will take place with the backdrop of the Eiffel Towner in May.
The main event will be a rematch with the Bellator Bantamweight title on the line as Patchy Mix defends against Magomed Magomedov. This past November Mix followed up on knocking out Raufeon Stots to win the Bellator Bantamweight Grand Prix and interim title by submitting Sergio Pettis to unify Bantamweight titles. In the quarterfinals of the Grand Prix “No Love” submitted Magomed Magomedov by guillotine choke. Magomedov got back in the win column in July with his own guillotine submitting Danny Sabatello.
In the co-main event former Glory Kickboxing champion, Cedric Doumbe who has all four of his wins by knockout faces Derek Anderson a 12-fight vet of Bellator. Anderson is coming off a first round armbar win on a regional show. And in the featured fight sport Gregory Babene who’s on an eight-fight win streak faces Costello “The Spaniard” Van Steenis in a title eliminator.
