8-fights set for “Fisticuff in Farmington”

Hobbs, promoter Isidro Castillo and his School of Hard Knocks are bringing professional boxing back to Farmington the second weekend of September.

In the main event Aztec, New Mexico’s Joe Martinez faces Colorado Springs Jeremy Ramos. Martinez has just passed five years since beating Arturo Crespin at Buffalo Thunder. Ramos a pro since 2012 has secured a third of his wins by knockout.

The co-main event between Farmington’s Jonathan Abeyta & Alamosa, Colorado’s Brandon Heredia is a rematch from a majority draw last November. Unbeaten Elijah “Blue” Martinez from Kirkland, NM will take a step up in competition going against the more experienced Ephraim Martinez from San Diego, California. El Paso’s unbeaten Jorge Tovar will square off with Las Cruces brawler Eliajah Sweat.
