Huge Title Fight Added to KnuckleMania 5
The latest addition to what BKFC president David Feldman says will be the biggest Bare-Knuckle card ever, is colossal a championship fight.
During BKFC 69 it was announced that Mick Terrill will defend his Heavyweight crown against the invading force that is “Big” Ben Rothwell.
England’s Mick Terrill is in the midst of a four-fight win streak. Wins over Sam Shewmaker & Steven Banks positioned Terrill for a rematch with Arnold Adams who had possession of the Heavyweight title. A fourth-round knockout saw Terrill realize his lifelong dream. A first-round knockout of Lorenzo Hunt cemented the Brit as champion.
Ben Rothwell has been destructive force in the BKFC ring. It took only 19 seconds for Rothwell to take care of Bobo O’Bannon in his promotional debut. At BKFC 41 Rothwell turned Josh Copeland into a bloody mess in three rounds. And fellow UFC vet Todd Duffee couldn’t last a minute with Rothwell at KnuckleMania 4.
Knuckle Mania 5 is set for January 25th at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
