The first Road to Dubai Champions Series fittingly takes place from the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. In the main event the Bellator Lightweight title is on the line for what will be the last time. Bellator Lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov defends his title against Irish challenger Paul Hughes. Former Bellator Light-Heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov is at Heavyweight for a battle with UFC vet Tim Johnson in the co-main event.
