WBA World title Fight set for February 22nd in El Paso
A new WBA Women’s Lightweight champion will be crowned February 22nd.
El Paso Police officer & rising star in the boxing world Stephanie Han will battle Aurora Colorado’s Hannah Terlep for the Vacant WBA Women’s Lightweight world championship in her hometown of El Paso.
Stephanie will attempt to follow in her brother Abe & sister Jennier’s enormous footsteps and complete the world championship trifecta for the siblings. Han went 4-0 in 2024 and won a WBA Intercontinental tile. Terlep has proven to pack a punch with 40% of her wins coming inside the distance.
The event is a jointly promoted card between Kings Promotions & Warriors Edge Boxing.
Unbeaten El Paso fighter Jorge Tovar is set to face Juan Barajas in an eight-round co-main event. Tovar will have his first fight of 2025 after a 3-0 campaign in 2024. In December Barajas scored his 5th win by knockout stopping Rogelio Gonzalez in one round.
