An interim Lightweight champion will be crowned in the main event as undefeated former Featherweight champion Ilia Topuria squares off against former Lightweight champion Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira. Topuria is a perfect 8-0 in the UFC with five wins by knockout. In his last two fights Topuria has scored crushing knockout wins over two of the greatest Featherweights of all time Alexander Volkanovski & Max Holloway. This will be Topuria’s first fight since vacating the Featherweight title to move up and become a full time Lightweight. Oliveira will look to become a two time champion after his first reign came to an end on the scale. “Do Bronx” is AJ aggressive finisher who’s written his name into the history books with the most submission in the UFC.
BJJ black belt Alexandre Pantoja attempts to defend his UFC Flyweight title for a fourth time in the co-main event when he faces New Zealand power puncher Kai Kara-France. The two have met once before unofficially but on a huge stage as Pantoja took a decision win of Kara-France on TUF 24.
