
Harry Gigliotti Adjusts & Outclasses Kallum Skhanes at BKB 43
The Hittman still holds the BKB Super Lightweight Championship.
It’s not enough to say you’re the best. When you’re at the top of the game you have to prove it.
To make his point Harry Gigliotti ventured across the pod giving Kallum Skhane’s home field advantage.
Speed and space were huge elements of the first round as Skhane was a hard target to find. Gigliotti stifled the challenger’s momentum in the second with a nose breaking jab. As the jab piled up Gigliotti started his trademark bodywork putting Skhane on the mat in the third. “The Hittman” finishes his target in the fourth from a right uppercut to the body. A second successful defense for the Massachusetts bodysnatcher.
Scott Mchugh sat down by a Liam Howell straight right in the first came back in the second round to score a one punch knockout off his right cross.
Robert Koky got off to an aggressive start roughing up Dan McGraffin in the clinch. Quickly off the break Koky fired a jab – cross combination putting McGraffin on the canvas. After standing up McGraffin was unable to continue due to a closed left eye.
Dan Gitten overcame an abysmal first round to keep his unbeaten record intact after stopping Harvey Dosset in the second round.
39-year-old Aaron McCallum dragged Luke Smith into a grueling clinch filled brawler finally forcing Smith to quite in the 4th round due to a thumb injury.
Wilson right hand was a sledgehammer scoring three knockdowns in the first round. Markett an independent fighter gave it his all, but the fight was mercifully stopped after a fourth knockdown midway into the second round.
Joe Morgan started the main card by blasting his way through Reece Murray in his debut in Bare Knuckle taking out the ten fight vet in the first round off a killer left hook.
A slick new contender in the Heavyweight division. The low hanging hands of Tyrone Eliffe allowed Dorian Darch to land some big right hands, but Eliffe came right back with looping punches from his hip. Eliffe’s left hand busting Darch open a final left hook taking Darch’s eyesight for a first round knockout to improve to 3-1.
David Winiarski ran his record to 3-0 stopping Bogdan Suru inside the second round. Winiarski was smooth and tech coal not forcing the fight collecting his first knockdown from a left hook. A right cross got the second knockdown. After a third time hitting the mat from a wicked combination the corner had seen enough.
Troy Palmer made short work of Gareth Heyesz. The Welshman landed a trio of right hands forcing Heyes to take a knee he didn’t get up from.
Liam McElhinney put Hayden Sherriff on the mat twice I the second round earning a win in his debut by standing TKO from an onslaught of hood following the second knockdown.
