BKFC Celebrates 8-Year Anniversary with Lane vs. Henry in Hollywood, FL

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is marking a major milestone this summer, celebrating its eighth anniversary with a return to one of its most reliable hotspots. On Thursday, June 4, BKFC heads back to Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, for its 15th event at the venue—an arena that has become synonymous with the promotion’s growth and energy.

Headlining the card is a compelling welterweight showdown that pits experience against surging momentum. Former BKFC Welterweight World Champion Julian “Let Me Bang” Lane (9-9) will square off with undefeated knockout artist Bryce “Baby Yaga” Henry (6-0, 6 KOs) in what’s being billed as a crossroads fight for the division.

Lane has been a staple of BKFC since its early days, earning a reputation as one of the promotion’s most recognizable and battle-tested fighters. The Mansfield, Ohio native returns to action following a grueling, Fight of the Year-caliber clash with Dustin Pague earlier this year. Prior to that bout, Lane had put together an impressive five-fight winning streak, taking out a mix of seasoned veterans and notable names including Gorjan Slaveski, Cameron VanCamp, Alfredo Angulo, Evgeny Kurdanov, and Murat Kazgan. His resume also features a memorable war with Mike Perry at KnuckleMania II, widely regarded as one of the sport’s standout bouts.

Standing across from him will be one of BKFC’s fastest-rising prospects. At just 25 years old, Broward County’s Bryce Henry has delivered nothing but knockouts through his first six appearances in the promotion. With victories over Roderick Stewart, Derrick Findley, Robbie Peralta, Tom Shoaff, Brandon Shavers, and Billy Wagner, Henry has quickly built a reputation as a must-watch finisher. Adding to his credentials, Henry also owns a 7-1 record in professional boxing.

BKFC founder and president David Feldman emphasized both the significance of the event and the matchup itself, highlighting South Florida’s role in the promotion’s success and the stakes attached to the main event. “We’re thrilled to return to our second home, Hard Rock Live for our 15th event” said Feldman. Lane representing the promotion’s foundation and Henry embodying its future, the bout carries major implications for the welterweight title picture.

“Julian Lane has been with us since the beginning and is a true BKFC fighting legend however Bryce Henry has been on an unprecedented winning streak, all by knockout. Both guys want a shot at the world title and this is a true BKFC crossroads battle. The former champ versus the fast-rising star – expect fireworks from the opening bell.”

As BKFC celebrates eight years of growth, the return to Hard Rock Live sets the stage for another high-energy night. With a proven veteran looking to reclaim his place at the top and an undefeated contender aiming to continue his knockout streak, the main event promises the kind of action that has defined BKFC since its inception.
