Huge championship Doubleheader announced for BKB 41
If you feel like the ground is shaking it’s because BKB is bringing two massive title fights to their return to Duval county for BKB 41.
In the main unbeaten BKB Heavyweight champion Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo defends his title against Poland’s Kamil Sokolowski the number one contender by the rankings.
Trujillo is 7-0 in Bare Knuckle with all seven wins by first round knockout. Trujillo captured the title at BYB28 stopping Ike Villanueva with a left hand. At BYB 34 Trujillo defends for the first time eliminating Richie Leak with a body shot.
Sokolowski (3-0) transitioned to Bare-Knuckle after 42 professional boxing matches. Since taking off the gloves Sokolowski has picked up three wins all by first round knockout. The first two wins came inside the BKB ring. At BYB 33 Sokolowski stepped into the Trigon for the first time establishing himself as the number one contender after dispatching of former champion Ike Villanueva. A
In the co-main event Croatian champion Marko Martinjak puts the BKB Super Cruiserweight title on the line against number one contender “The Cuban Crocodile” Yordan Fuentes.
Martinjak (10-2) is on a four-fight in Bare-Knuckle and had won seven in a row adding in what he’s actively doing in Boxing. The last three wins over Jarome Hatch l, Levin Greenwood, & Brad Scott have come with champions in the balance.
Fuentes (4-0) has spent his professional career battling in the Trigon starting at BYB 19 when he stopped Brandon Johnson in the fourth round. A split decision over former champion Jarome Hatch positioned “The Cuban Crocodile” for a title eliminator. At BYB 35 Fuentes blasted his way through Steve Pasche to earn his spot as number one contender.
BKB 41 is set for May 31st at the Prime F Osborn Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
