Fightworld 41 Returns to Revel the Weekend Before Thanksgiving
Albuquerque, NM — Fightworld MMA returns to Revel the weekend before Thanksgiving with a stacked lineup of fights. On Saturday, November 22, it’s Fightworld 41, promising an action-packed night featuring up to 15 bouts, including two potential title fights.
The professional card is still being finalized at the time of publication, but fans can expect a mix of returning stars and exciting debuts. Among the highlights: powerhouse wrestler James Romero is slated to compete while Third-Degree Taekwondo Black Belt Richard Jennings from Alamogordo looks to showcase his striking skills. Longtime fans will also be watching the pro debut of Sergio Gutierrez, one of the most anticipated newcomers to the professional ranks.
On the amateur side, recently crowned Lightweight Champion Jon “Wick” Merino will make a quick turnaround after capturing the belt at Fightworld 40 in August. Merino, representing Sandoval Fight System, won the title via split decision to move to 4–0. He’ll defend against Nobody’s Villian’s Marvin Sandoval, who also enters the bout undefeated 3-0, boasting a first-round knockout and two decision victories.
