Amanda Serrano vs. Cheyenne Hanson Added, Elevates MVPW-03 to Double Main Event
Most Valuable Promotions is set to deliver one of the most stacked cards in women’s boxing this year, as MVPW-03 heads to El Paso, Texas on Saturday, May 30. The event, taking place at the El Paso County Coliseum, will air live on ESPN and the ESPN App and feature a lineup built entirely around elite female fighters.
The card received a major late addition, as Amanda Serrano vs. Cheyenne Hanson has officially been added to the lineup, elevating the event into a true double main event. Serrano will defend her unified WBA and WBO featherweight world titles against Germany’s top contender in a 10-round bout at 126 pounds. Widely regarded as one of the most accomplished fighters in women’s boxing history, Serrano now adds even more star power to an already loaded card, while Hanson enters as a dangerous knockout artist looking to make a statement.
Sharing the spotlight is the previously announced rematch between Stephanie Han and Holly Holm for the WBA lightweight world title. The bout is expected to be contested over 10 three-minute rounds, continuing the push for equality in women’s championship fights.
The card also features multiple world title bouts. Unified middleweight champion Desley Robinson will defend her titles against Canada’s Mary Spencer in a 10-round clash at 160 pounds. Robinson has quickly emerged as a rising force in the division, while Spencer brings a decorated amateur background and proven toughness.
Another key matchup sees WBC junior flyweight champion Lourdes Juarez defend her title against Yokasta Valle. Valle, already a three-division world champion, is aiming to capture her seventh world title across multiple weight classes in what shapes up as a high-level showdown.
