A Venue Change & 1st 2 Bouts Announced for WSOF 12
Originally World Series of Fighting officials had thought WOSF 12 would be the promotions first event in Japan but that has not come in fruition and WSOF 12 will instead take place in Las vegas, Nevada.
After a 5 fight stint in the UFC, with 4 of those being at Middleweight, Ronny Markes (14-3) will return to the Light Heavyweight division for his WSOF debut against Kelvin Tiller (6-0), who has 4 of 5 stoppages by submission. Markes won his first 3 bouts in the UFC before loses to Yoel Romero (KO) and Thiago Santos (TKO). Tiller has not fought since a June 2013, submission of Chris Henning.
In the Lightweight division Lewis Gonzalez (9-0), who has WSOF decision wins over Emmanuel Sanchez and Antonio McKee, faces Bellator and CFA vet, Luis Palamino; who’s coming off a WSOF 8 knock out of Jorge Patino (22-9).
