Canada vs. Australia “TUF Nations” Coached by Patrick Cote & Kyle Noke
Canada’s Patrick “The Predator” Cote (19-8) and Australia’s Kyle Noke (20-6-1) will be the coaching representatives for their respective countries in the upcoming national season of TUF.
The show will air in Canada on Sportsnet and TVA Sports, and on FX in Australia. U.S. broadcast plans weren’t announced. It has also not been announced if Cote and Noke will meet in the traditional season ending Coaches match.
Canada vs. Australia “TUF Nations” is expected to feature Welterweights. Both Cote and Noke have spent the majority of their UFC careers at Middleweight, but have both recently dropped to Welterweight.
Patrick Cote has won 6 of his last 7 fights, including consecutive wins over Alessio Sakara at Middleweight and Bobby Voelker at welterweight.”The Predator” trains at BTT Canada and has 8 of 11 stoppage wins by KO/TKO.
Kyle Noke who trains at Integrated MMA and with Jackson’s/Winkeljohn’s MMA, due to injury has not fought since UFC 152, when he successfully debuted at Welterweight with a 45 second TKO of Charlie Brenneman. The win also snapped a two fight losing streak, Noke had at Middleweight. Noke has 15 wins by stoppage with 7 KO/TKO and 8 submissions.
This will be the 3rd time for TUF doing country vs. country with also having done USA vs. UK and UK vs. Australia.
