Belfort- Henderson II in the works
A recent hot topic in the UFC has been who will Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort (23-10) face next? Belfort turned down a match-up with Tim Kennedy and was recently rumored to possibly face Lyoto Machida. Now it looks like Belfort will rematch Dan Henderson (29-10); the 2 fist met back in 2006.
The match-up is expected to headline UFC Fight Night 31 on November 9, in Brazil.
Belfort right now is on a roll with consecutive knockout victories over Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold, at Middleweight.
Henderson on the other hand has lost consecutive close decisions to Lyoto Machida and Rashad Evans at Light heavyweight.
It’s also unknown at this time what weight class the Belfort vs. Henderson II would be competed at. Belfort has recently said he would only fight at Middleweight again, if it was a title shot.
