Eye Clashes with Kaufman at UFC 166,
As has been the rumor Jessica “Evil” Eye (10-1) will make her UFC debut against former Strikeforce Women’s bantamweight champion Sarah Kaufman (16-2) at UFC 166.
The announcement of Eye vs. Kaufman at UFC 166, moves the previously announced Bantamweight encounter between George Roop (14-9-1) and Francisco Rivera (9-2) to 3 weeks later at UFC Fight for the Troops 3 (UFC Fight Night 31) on November 6.
Eye is currently on a 7 fight winning streak which includes, submitting Zoila Frausto –Gurgel in under a minute and most recently defeating Carina Damm by unanimous decision.
Kaufman had been scheduled to make her promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 27 vs. Sara McMann. Kaufman was later pulled from the card when a suitable replacement was not found. Kaufman last fought at Invicta FC 5 earning unanimous decision over.
UFC 166 takes place on October 19, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The main event will see Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos.
