Brunson Faces Neto at UFC Fight for the Troops 3

The 13^th match-up for UFC Fight for the Troops 3 (UFC Fight Night 31) been announced as a Middleweight contest with Derek Brunson (10-2) squaring off with Braga Neto (9-1).

After a UFC 155 promotional debut decision win over Chris Leben, Brunson has had one obstacle after another keeping him from getting back in action. Brunson saw his UFC on Fuel TV 10 bout canceled when opponent Ronny Markes was in a care accident on the way to the weigh-ins. At UFC 164 Brunson was forced by injury to withdraw from a scheduled bout with Yoel Romero.

Neto made his promotional debut at UFC on Fuel TV 10 submitting Anthony Smith, to score his 4^th consecutive win.

UFC Fight for the Toops 3 (UFC Fight Night 31) take place at Fort Campbell in Kentucky on November 6^th, the main event will see the Middleweight debut of Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida vs. Armed Forces vet Tim Kennedy
