MFC 38: Behind Enemy Lines adds 5 Prelims
On Friday, October 4, MFC 38: Behind Enemy Lines takes place at the Shaw Conference Center in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The main card as normal will be broadcasted on AXS TV at 10:00 PM ET. But the action kicks off first on the MFC Facebook (www.Facebook.com/maximumfighting) with 5 match-ups making up the prelim portion of the event.
Cody “Genghis” Krahn (11-8) will look to end his 4 fight losing streak, when he faces Nick Campbell (5-3), who has won consecutive bouts; in a Middleweight contest.
A pair of Lightweight bouts have been scheduled with Garrett “Nasty” Nybakken (5-6) vs. Layne McTaggart (3-2) and Matt Jelly (3-2) vs. Aaron “Gorilla” Gallant (5-5). Hybakken will be looking to bounce back coming off a decision loss to Peter Neufeld at MFC 37. McTaggart makes his MFC debut coming off a decision win over Rob Roy. Jelly was last seen having his 3 fight winning streak ended by a decision loss to Daniel Swain. Gallant has won 3 consecutive bouts most recently finishing Mark Maruzs by TKO.
In a Bantamweight battle Daniel Mark (2-1) off his win over Maged Hammo, takes on Corey “The Hatchet” Gower (3-2) who is looking to end a 2 fight losing streak.
To kick of the night Sheldon “A-Bomb” Adamson meets Paul Gerbinski in a Light Heavyweight scrap.
