Mike Ricci Released by UFC
TriStar Gym’s Mike “The Martian” Ricci (8-4), who was a finalist of season 16 of TUF has been released from the UFC.
Ricci in his time in the UFC went 1-2, losing the TUF finals at Welterweight to Colton Smith by unanimous decision, moving to Lightweight and defeating Colin Fletcher at UFC 158 by unanimous decision; and most recently in an uneventful bout at UFC 165 dropped a split decision to Myles Jury.
Ricci has 4 of 5 stoppage win by KO/TKO and did earn the knockout of the season award from TUF 16.
