Ray Borg Battles Jeimeson Saudino for SCS Flyweight Title Nov. 23
Fit NHB’s Ray Borg (4-0) will be traveling to Hinton, Oklahoma, for a November 23, Flyweight title match-up with Laselva MMA’s Jeimeson “The Minion” Saudino (7-1).
The bout will be the co-main event of the Sugar Creek Showdown going down at the Sugar Creek Casino.
Borg is coming off the biggest win of his career, a unanimous decision victory over 3x King of the Cage champion Angelo Sanchez. Borg started off his career earning 3 wins in the first round with back to back rear naked choke victories over Gene Perez and Peter Baltimore, before stopping Lee Lindow with strikes.
Since suffering a submission loss in his second pro bout at Bellator 56 to Jacob Akin, Saudino has won 6 consecutive fights. “The Minion” has 5 wins inside the distance with 2 (T)KO, 1 rear naked choke, 1 triangle choke, and DQ after being illegally kneed in the head. Most recently Saudino was on the winning side of a split decision with Jesse Thorton at Bellator 103.
When asked about the fight Borg said “Its a great opportunity to finally be fighting at my natural weight class.,,and im looking forward to making a splash on the 125lb division”.
