Riddle and Bellator Part Ways
Bellator MMA has announced that following his 2nd withdrawal from a scheduled fight, Matt “Deep Waters” Riddle has been released from the promotion.
Riddle was scheduled to face Nathan Coy at this Friday’s Bellator 109. No reason reason was given for the withdrawal and the same goes for Riddle’s release. Bellator did announce that Coy will be rescheduled for a later date.
Riddle since his 2nd failed drug test led to his release from the UFC, has been signed to Legacy FC and Bellator MMA; but has not fought once. As a pro Riddle has never fought anywhere besides in the Octagon.
