Alcantara Meets Reis at UFC Fight Night 36
A bout that will see Brazilian Bantamweight bang it out has been added to UFC Fight Night 36 with Yuri Alcantara (28-5) taking on Wilson Reis (17-4).
Alcantara will be looking to bounce back from a unanimous decision loss to Urijah Faber, in which Alcantara had the “California Kid” in trouble in the opening round but failed to capitalize. Alcantara a bout prior knocked out Iliarde Santos at UFC on FX 8.
Reis has won 5 fights in a row since being released from Bellator, including on short notice defeating Ivan Menjivar by unanimous decision at UFC 165.
UFC Fight Night 36 take place on February 15, at the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua Do Sul, Santa Catrina, Brazil; headlined by Lyoot Machida vs. Gegard Mousasi.
