Legacy FC 29 adds Garcia vs. Howell Featherweight Title Bout
On Friday January 31, at Legacy FC 27 it was announced that in addition to the a new Light Heavyweight champion being crowned at Legacy FC 29, that a 2nd title bout will also be part of the stacked card with LFC Featherweight title being defended.
Newly crowned LFC Featherweight champion Leonard “Bad Boy” Garcia (18-11-1) will put the title on the line against Shane Howell (13-7).
Garcia, who known for being one of the most exciting fighters in MMA with his fan friendly brawling style. Since being released from the UFC, the “Bad Boy” is a perfect 3-0 in the Legacy cage knocking out Rey Turjillo, submitting Nick Gonzalez, and claiming the vacant Featherweight tile via TKO of Kevin Aguilar.
Howell a vet of King of the Cage and Bellator is 9-1 in his last 10 fight; including a current 6 fight winning streak. In his last 9 wins Howell has 8 stoppages, with 6 wins in the first round. Howell is coming off of consecutive TKO wins of Daniel Armendariz and Jimmy Van Horn.
Legacy FC 29 takes place March 21 at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Okla.
