New Breed Faces The Detroit Super Star at UFC Fight Night Cincinnati
A meeting between Roufusports Erik “New Breed” Koch (14-3) and TUF 15 alum Daron “The Detroit Super Star” Cruckshank (14-4) has made it’s way on to the May 10th, UFC Fight Night Cincinnati at the US Bank Arena.
A 4 fight win streak worked Koch to the 10 of the UFC’s Featherweight division. After back to back losses to Ricardo Lam (TKO) and Dustin Poirier (UD), “New Breed” moved up to Lightweight at UFC 170 scoring a TKO victory over Rafaello Oliveira.
Cruckshank is 2-2 in his last 4 fights with losses to John Makdessi (UD) and Adriano Martins (SUB), while picking up wins against Yves Edwards (SD) and most recently over Mike Rio (TKO).
