Borg Gets Quick Turnaround Meeting Ortiz at UFC on Fox 11
There has been a late addition to UFC on Fox 11, just 9 days away, Roufusport’s Dustin Ortiz (12-3) will welcome to the octagon fellow Flyweight Fit NHB’s Ray Borg (6-0).
Ortiz will be looking to rebound from a split decision loss to John Moraga that ended a 4 fight win streak that included a promotional debut TKO win over Jose Maria Tome. Ortiz has 9 wins by stoppage with 5 (T)KO and 4 submissions.
Borg who just signed a 4 fight deaf with the UFC is at 20 years old the 2nd youngest fighter on the current roster. Just 5 days ago at Legacy 30 Borg with a 2nd round rear naked choke put an end to Nick Urso’s 6 fight winning streak. Borg known as “The Tazmexican Devil” holds notable wins over former King of the Cage champion Angelo Sanchez and Jeimeson Saudino; who Borg submitted to become the SCS Flyweight champion.
UFC on Fox 11 take place on April 19 at the American Arilines Arena in Orlando, Florida; and is headlined by Trvis “Hapa” Browne vs. Fabricio Werdum in a Heavyweight number one contenders bout.
