Hioki Meets Oliveira at UFC Fight Night Auckland
A Featherweight bout pitting Japan’s Hatsu Hioki (27-7-2) against Brazil’s Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira (17-4) has been announced for UFC Fight Night Auckland.
Hioki is coming off a decision win over Ivan Menjivar, snapping a 3 fight losing streak; that saw Hioki drop decisions to Ricardo Lamas, Clay Guida, and Darren Elkins.
Oliverira is coming off submitting Andy Ogle. Bouncing back from losses to Frankie Edgar (UD) and Cub Swanson (KO).
UFC Fight Night Auckland takes place on June 28 at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand and is the promotions first visit to the country. The headling bout will see James Te Huna vs. Nate Marqudart. Taking place the same day around the world is UFC Fight Night San Antonio, here in the United States.
